Information for our guests

As Australia’s premium beach holiday location, the Gold Coast is large enough to have all the facilities and features of a large resort city, including huge shopping complexes, theatres, nightclubs, fine dining, art galleries, several world-class golf courses and driving ranges, sporting complexes, an international airport and many live music entertainment venues.

But if you are looking for a quieter and more relaxed holiday, the Gold Coast has that too. It has some of the world’s best surfing beaches as well as quiet estuaries, parklands and headlands with spectacular views. If you enjoy fishing you can join a day trip to go deep-sea fishing and there are also plenty of quiet still-water or surf-beach fishing locations.

Behind the Gold Coast's celebrated beaches, city skyline and meandering canals, just 35 minutes away is an impressive frame of hinterland mountains capped with sub-tropical rainforests, complete with many hiking tracks.

Information for our international visitors

Seasons in Australia are reversed to the Northern Hemisphere - i.e. Winter is June to August with spring in September to November, Summer is December to February. Australia has a temperate climate, with over 340 sunny days per year. The Gold Coast is on Queensland’s southern border where Queensland meets New South Wales.

The climate is sub-tropical - summers are warm, winters are mild and autumn & spring offer the very best of climates.

The apartment is 35 minutes drive from the Gold Coast International Airport and 60 minutes from the capital city of Brisbane and it's international airport. You can get there by car or train.

World famous 'Byron Bay' is only a 75 minute drive away and the world heritage listed Great Barrier Reef is less than two hours north by plane. A one hour flight south takes you to Sydney.

Information for boating enthusiasts

Have a great day on the broadwater, sailing, fishing, or just relaxing on the water. And when night falls, go home to a hot shower, a good meal and a comfortable bed. A marina berth for your sailing or power boat up to 26ft, may be made available, provided sufficient prior notice is given. (a rental fee applies)

With no bridges between Bayview Bay and the Broadwater, you'll be out there in 5 minutes.
Smaller boats may be launched at Bayview Bay's own ramp. Then park your car and boat trailer in Unit 53's secure double car park.

It's the best of both worlds - a lovely holiday apartment for you and your family, and days spent enjoying great boating.
